Families Targeted by Israeli Terror in 2012
Around 6:15 am, Israeli forces fired a missile
towards the 62-year-old women, Sadia Deeb,
while she was feeding her birds at her home
located in Shujaia, eastern Gaza, killing her
instantly.
3. Testimony of Nasra Deeb, 55, sister of
mar tyr :1
At dawn, my sister covered her head and
body intending to go out. It was still too early to go
out. I stopped her to ask where she was going; she
said, ‘I can hear dogs barking, just want to make
sure my hens are all right.
As if the drone was observing her, she
went out to the garden and the drone fired a missile
directly towards her, while my brother was talking
to her through the window.
It was as if my brother was watching a
movie or even acting in a movie where the heroin
dies in front of her hero! He ran to the garden, but it
was too late already! She died.
Talking about myself, I heard the explosion
but never had I thought that it could be Sadia. The
house was shaken and the glass was broken. It did
not come to my mind that the target could be our
land and my sister. I only realized that something
wrong happened to Sadia when I saw my brother,
Rezeq, running towards her! I started to run in the
same direction, too.
My brother and I carried her to the hospital
after we saw her bleeding to death. Everything
happened within a wink of an eye!
