Families Targeted by Israeli Terror in 2012
light flashing everywhere. I did not know the
whereabouts, but I = felt I was sinking deep in the
sand! I realized, not knowing exactly what was I
going on, that I was in danger and I was still alive.
I saw a small hole under the rubble from where the
light shines.
I barely removed the sand and stones away
from me. Every stone I remove was accompanied
by a new agony and a new injury. Every stone I
removed revealed more bleeding in my body.
Although I was severely injured, I did my
best to get myself out. Nobody was there to help. I
was hardly moving my legs because of my injury,
but I finally got myself out from the bombed house.
I stopped and had a final look at it to realize what
was going on!
An ambulance took me and transferred me
to Al-Shifa Hospital. I was injured in my head, my
feet, and my back. I was laying on the bed at the
hospital whenI saw my sister and her kids’ bodies
carried by people. All were dead.
Until this moment, I still feel shocked! I still
cannot believe what happened. It was a nightmare!
having survived this was a miracle. Praise be to
God.
