First: Historical Introduction
Since the beginning of 1948, as the British
Mandate left Palestine, Israel started illegally to
occupy the land. By 1967, Israel had occupied
the whole Palestine. From that day, it violated
the international rights and ignored all human
values, despite its claims that it is an extension of
Western civilization, which calls for the respect and
protection of human rights and dignity.
Israel’s violations of human rights are
consistent with the Zionist ideology, which has
accompanied the foundation of the Israel 67 years
ago. The founding fathers of the Israeli occupation
made sure to establish oppressive laws that a long
with taking Palestinian lands would take away
the Palestinians’ freedom and turn their life into
intolerable hell. It was all represented crudely in
the years of the two uprisings (Intifadas): the First
Intifada in 1987 and Second (al-Aqsa) Intifada in
2000, and throughout all of the bloody military
campaigns that happened before, after and in
between.
At the end of 2012, November 14, Israel
launched an eight-day aggression on the Gaza
Strip, Operation Pillar of Defense, further proving
Israel’s insistence on breaching all laws, legislations
and treaties. In this aggression, the occupation
army carried on their plans of violent attacks in
an attempt to humiliate the unarmed innocent
