Adding to this, outside Palestine, Israeli
military command launched a public campaign of
terrorism against activists in the Palestinian national
movement in the seventies and eighties. It carried
out a series of bloody assassinations against tens of
them, transgressing all the geographic and moral
bounds in Beirut, Algiers, Tripoli, Cyprus, Rome,
Paris, Copenhagen and Stockholm.
In the Gaza Strip, the occupation authorities
continued its policies of repression followed against
Palestinians, who remained in Palestine after 1948.
One thing still differentiates the occupied territories
from other parts of Palestine; the occupied territories
are theoretically no longer part of ‘Israel’, which
means that Palestinians who live there could not
be theoretically considered equal to Israelis before
the law. Thus, Palestinians in the Gaza Strip do not
enjoy equal rights.
Zionist terrorism also continued after 1948
and is still practiced against Palestinians in various
forms: attacks from sea, land and air.
