Families Targeted by Israeli Terror in 2012
About 3:00 am, the Israeli airplanes fired a
drone-warning missile towards the Khuly
family’s house in al Zaytoon neighbourhood,
eastern Gaza City. After a while, the house was
bombed by an F16 missile. Three hours later,
warplanes fired one more warning missile at the
same house. Ten minutes later, two more missiles
were fired at the same house again, resulting
in a total destruction of the house and massive
damages to the nearby houses. As a result, 18
Palestinians were injured, including four women
and five children. In addition, two apartments of
Al Serhy family were completely destroyed and
other two apartments were partially destroyed,
injuring 20-year-old Zakaria Al Serhy.

Exactly at 3:00 am, the Israeli Shabak called
my eldest brother Ayman and told him we have to
evacuate our 7-storey house in five minutes to be
targeted.
My brother wanted to talk to the person on
the other side, but he shouted at him saying: ‘don’t
talk, son of bitch!’ and hung up the line.
It was still 3:00 am, which meant people
were still sleeping. It meant it was still dark outside
and Israel was so intelligent in choosing the suitable
time! Ayman told us to take things seriously and to
hurry up. It took us only a few minutes to evacuate
the house to leave everything behind. While
evacuating, they attacked the house by a drone
missile, but thanks God, it did not cause harm to any
of us. Staying in the street waiting our house to be
