Around 3:45 pm, Israeli warplanes fired a
missile at a motorbike belonging to a civilian. It
was on the Airport Street, eastern Rafah City.
The missile directly hit the motorbike, killing
Suliman Abu Sanima, 28.
18. Testimony of Walaa Abu Sanima, 22, Sister
of Martyr Shawqi:1
That day, we were watching TV together
when we saw scenes of martyrs who were killed in
the last attack near our house in the morning. My
brother, Shawqi, while watching scenes of martyrs
said, ‘You see those martyrs, Walaa? I don’t know
why, but I have a so strong feeling that I might be in
their place in half an hour, and you’ll watch me on
TV!’
‘What a feeling! What he was talking
about!’ I said to myself. I went to complete my work
and he went to have a shower.
After some time, I heard a strong explosion!
I looked at the watch to realize that it was exactly
half an hour! ‘Shawqi!’ I screamed.
Later, I knew that an Israeli drone attacked
my brother. The missile caused his leg amputation.
He didn’t die directly. The ambulance was late that
he spent half an hour bleeding not being able to do
anything. He passed away around 4:30 pm. God
accept him as a martyr.
