Around 6:40 pm, a missile was hit at a group of
Palestinians who were near Al-Bukhary mosque
in Deir Al-Balah town. That resulted in the
immediate martyrdom of Mohammed Mosah
Abu Aisha, 24, and Hassan Yousef Al-Ostaz, 22.
26. Testimony of Entisar Al-Assar, 45, Mother of
Martyr Mohammed:1
Early in the morning, I went to the market
to purchase some stuff needed for the house. While
I was there, the Israeli warplanes hit the Nafaq near
the market. Fear filled my heart. I rushed back to
my house and prepared lunch for the family who
were gathering around the table. After the afternoon
prayer, my son Mohammed insisted on taking his
wife Hiba Najy to her parents’ house because she
was pregnant and he was afraid that their child
would get hurt.
When he came back home, his friend called
him and warned him of going out because the Israeli
warplanes were shelling randomly at people because
it was time before the ceasefire started.
It was dinner-time when I went upstairs
to his apartment and asked him if he wanted to
have dinner so I would prepare it for him. Once
he finished eating, his friends called him and told
him that they were waiting for him outside. Thus,
he went out to meet his friends. After 15 minutes,
I heard a strong bomb and I felt something strange
happened to my son. I rushed outdoors, I saw my
son on the ground motionless!
