13. Testimony of Abu Khader Dughmosh, 61,
Father of Martyr Musab:1
On the day of his martyrdom, my son
Musab and I prayed Dawn Prayer at the mosque.
On our way home, I asked him to walk next to the
wall so that Israeli drones do not spot him. I was so
afraid the Israeli drones spot and attack him as they
always did to civilians. We arrived home safe and
sound.
A feeling of concern occupied me that
day, though. At noon, we received the news of
the martyrdom of our neighbour, Ahmed. I was so
worried that I called my son and asked him to come
home quickly, but he never came; I went to the
mosque to see them there, but could not find him!
It was afternoon already when a strong
explosion was heard nearby and saw a big column
of black smoke rising into the sky so close to our
house. I quickly called my son, but there was no
answer. I called my other son to ask about him.
Someone answered me but it was not Ahmad. He
said, ‘the owner of this cell-phone was attacked by
an Israeli missile and he was killed.’
Still shocked, I drove my car so fast to the
hospital. They told me that my son, Musab, was in
