Families Targeted by Israeli Terror in 2012
Around 4:00 pm, Israeli warplanes fired two
missiles towards a place at Baghdad Street in
Shijaiah neighbourhood, eastern Gaza. That
bombardment resulted in the martyrdom of four
Palestinians, including 18-year-old girl, Yusra
Basil Shawwa. The martyrs were Saqir Yousef
Bolbol, 57, Tariq Awni Hajila, 40, and Mahmoud
Mohammed Zuhri, 21.

My husband was on his way home from
work when Israeli warplanes bombed Hilles family
house. A foreign delegation was in the Gaza Strip to
check the places that was bombed to find out more
information. People thought it would be safe outside
thinking that Israel wouldn’t bomb as long as the
delegation was in the area. But this was never true.
It was a shock to everyone when the
Israeli warplanes attacked Hilles family house. As
my husband was on his way, he was injured by
fragments. As the ambulance arrived, people carried
him to the ambulance trying to save his life. His
serious injury didn’t help, though. It was so serious
to help him survive!
My husband asked me to look after my kids.
He always wished to die as a martyr. God accept his
martyrdom.
