About 3:45 pm, an Israeli drone targeted a group
of people who were in Banat Street, east of Beit
Hanoon, resulting in the death of Ayman Rafeeq

Martyr:1
Early in the morning, my husband had
lunch with us. He told me that he had to go out for
some time and come back. He said he would not be
late. It was strange when he asked me to take great
care after our son and daughter, telling me: ‘take
care of yourself, honey!’
It was afternoon already when I felt
something strange in my heart. That moment, my
father-in-law was talking to someone on the phone
when I heard him talking about my husband.
I rushed to him and asked if anything wrong
happened to Ayman, but he didn’t answer me. He
called journalist Omar Awad who worked at Al
Aqsa Radio Voice to make sure the news was right.
The moment my father-in-law mentioned
the news of my husband’s martyrdom, I got shocked.
I could not get losing him forever.
