At about 2:10 pm, an Israeli drone attacked a
group of citizens, who were in a farm belonging
to Talal Sadi Al-Asali, 48, in the middle of Ahmed
Yaseen Street, Jabalia, northern Gaza. That led
to the death of Talal, his son, Ayman, 19, and his
little girl, Abeer,12.
6. Testimony of Tamam Al-Asali, 45, Wife of
Martyr Talal:1
After Ayman and Abeer, my kids, my
husband and I had lunch, everyone went apart. A
moment later, my husband asked for a cup of tea
and told me that he was waiting outdoors.
I made tea when I heard a sound of a massive
explosion. I hurried at the door of the house to find
my husband surrounded by blood and Ayman was
killed. That moment, I looked for my daughter but
didn’t find her. I was screaming. People carried me
to my house and asked me not to go out. I begged
them to show me my husband and kid again, but
they said, ‘no. Go have some rest!’
I never knew why they prevented me from
seeing them. Later, I knew their bodies were so
distorted to be recognized. ‘They were faceless,’
they told me.
I was still in a shock that I forgot all about
my daughter. It was when I heard one of the women
talking about my daughter, Abeer, that I looked
her in the eye and asked, ‘What happened to her?
Where is she?’ The news of her martyrdom was too
havy on me. God! Help me bear it.
