3. Testimony of Nedaa Omar, 23, Wife of
Martyr:

Two days before my husband’s martyrdom,
an F16 missile targeted part of our house. My kids
and I went to my family’s house and stayed there.
In the last day of the aggression, my kids
and I decided to come back home as it would be over
so soon. When we arrived, my husband welcomed
us. ‘I missed you all like hell,’ he said to us while
hugging the kids.
My Husband spent a long time playing with
Belal. When his friend came to meet him, they went
out for a while. Suddenly, as his friend told me later,
Fares asked his friend to take Belal away from him.
‘Take the boy, buddy. Take him! I feel something
bad will happen!’
No one got what Fares said. No one got such
a strange act, but his friend took Belal away frommy
husband as he asked him to do, not understanding
why. As soon as his friend took the boy, an Israeli
drone missile attacked my husband; he was 4 meters
away from Belal, already!
Rushing outdoors, I saw his friend holding
Belal in a hand, and Fares’s arm, which was cut off,
in the other hand! ‘Where is Faers?’ I screamed, not
believing what I was.
When his friend pointed at him, I ran toward
him screaming for help. I sat in the middle of the
street. He was still alive. He looked at me, raised his
index finger to soon pass away.
