8. Testimony of Hana Salman, 27, wife of
Martyr
Mohammed:1
On Friday, 12:00 pm, I was at home
preparing lunch. My husband left the house early in
the morning for work at a farm in Beit Lahia. On his
way home, he went to my family›s house to meet
my brother Jamal Salman. At that moment, I heard
a loud explosion. It shook the entire house. Later,
I knew that my husband, my brother and his wife
were the target!
I left in a hurry to my family›s home; I did
not expect to see my husband there. When I arrived,
I saw ambulances. And there they were, the three
of them. My husband and my brother›s wife were
killed, and my brother was seriously injured.
9. Testimony of Ghalia Salman, 55, Mother-in-
Law of Martyr Tahreer:2
I was the first to see what happened. I was
at home preparing lunch, when a huge explosion
happened. I thought that Tahreer was inside, but
she was not. She was in the courtyard of the house
with her husband and my son-in -law. I looked out
from the window and saw the three of them lying
on the ground, my son, his wife and my daughter›s
husband.
I screamed for help, it was like I lost
consciousness. I don›t know what happened, but
my sight got blurry when I saw my daughter-in-
