Families Targeted by Israeli Terror in 2012

head was almost damaged.
I fainted. When I woke up, I asked people
around me ‘what happened?’ They told me that
Mohamed and Jamal are fine, but Tahreer was
martyred after half an hour of her injury. They said
that my daughter›s husband also was martyred while
my son was badly injured in his stomach, hands and
back. They transferred him to Egypt for treatment.
He did not know that his wife was dead by then.
He was always calling us to ask about his
wife and every time he asked, we told him that she
was very tired and cannot talk to you. Two months
later, I went to Egypt to visit him and started to
tell him stories of martyrs and the great reward of
being patient. I wanted him to accept his wife’s loss.
But he told me he knew about his wife’s death the
moment they were targeted, adding that his wife
visited him three times in his sleep. He knew she
was dead.
After spending three months in Egypt, he
returned to Gaza and he stayed at Al Wafaa Hospital
to attend a rehabilitation program. He now uses a
wheelchair to move around.
