Families Targeted by Israeli Terror in 2012
At nearly 1:24 pm, Israeli warplanes fired a
missile towards two citizens, who were at a farm
in the western area to the north of Khanyounis,
southern Gaza. Ismail Khatab Qandil, 23, died
of injuries. Another person was injured.
11. Testimony of Abu Ismail Qandil, 43, brother
of the Martyr:1
Since the aggression started, my brother,
Isamil, stayed at his place, so we couldn›t see him
in the first days of the war. The night before his
martyrdom, he came home to say goodbye and went
back for work again.
The next day, while I was listening to news
at my work place, I heard the name of my brother on
the radio. It came as a shock to me.
Around 2:30 pm, Israel fired a missile towards a
farm near AL-Nojoom Hall for weddings in Al-
Zaytoon neighborhood, eastern Gaza, killing a
citizen: Younis Kamel Tafesh, 55. He was passing
through the place riding his motorcycle.
12. Testimony of Fayza AL-Amareen, 53, wife of
the Martyr:2
One day before the martyrdom of my
husband, he prayed on martyr Ronan Arafat and
attended her funeral. On the next day, I asked him
not to leave the house because of the dangerous
situation, but he insisted on going out to help his
