5. Testimony of Fadwa abu Naser, 36, Sister of
Martyr Khaled:1
The day of his martyrdom, Khaled didn›t
sleep at home. Next morning, we were busy
following up news. Suddenly, Um Ahmed Hejazi,
our neighbor, knocked at the door and asking
about Khaled. “Where is your brother Khaled?” I
wondered why she was asking about him.
I asked her if something bad happened to
my brother, but she didn’t answer. I was sure this
time that something bad happened to him. After
a while, she told me that my brother was killed. I
couldn’t believe my ears when she said what she
said! I fainted.
6. Testimony of Mahmoud abu Naser, 60,
Father of Martyr Khaled:2
At noon, on my way to mosque, I was told
by a young man that Khaled was injured. I hurried
to Kamal Udwan Hospital and near the door I
fainted when heard that my son was martyred along
with his friend, Rani Hammad.
