Families Targeted by Israeli Terror in 2012
Tuesday evening, 15th Nov, 2012, the Israeli
warplanes attacked a farmland in Absan Al-
Jadeeda, to the east of Khan Younis by a drone
missile. As a result, Ahmed Awad Abu-Elian, 14,
was injured in the head. Next day in the morning,
11:00 am, he died.

On that very day, Ahmad went out to work
at our farmland, nearly a kilometer from our house.
He was busy fertilizing and irrigating the land. At
1:00 pm, he returned back home for lunch. Back to
the farm with his uncle, Suliman Abu-Elian, they
were directly hit by a drone missile.
My brother was injured by in different parts
of his body; he spent four days in the hospital. My
son’s body was full of fragments, one of which
hit his brain. Ahmed remained unconscious for
six days in the intensive care unit at the European
Hospital. During that period, I was sitting beside
him heartbroken. I was always askingAllah to make
him utter anything. Just anything. I wanted to hear
his voice. At about 11:00 am the morning of the next
day, he died.
