Israel Kills
Families Targeted by Israeli Terror in 2012
Around 4: 35 am, the Israeli forces attacked
Atiya Abu Nqaira’s four-story house, which is
located in Al-Shaboura, Rafah, by firing four
warning missiles. After a while, the house was
fully damaged due to Israeli F 16 air strike, which
led to the destruction of Ahmed Abu Nqaira’s
house too, which was located next to the targeted
house. Ahmad, 61, was killed.
1. Testimony of Mariam Abu Nqaira, 54, wife
of martyr:1
My husband was a farmer. He had a farm
at which he raised some sheep and spent most of
his time. Mr. ‘Atiya Abu Nqaira’s house was the
closest to our house in the neighborhood. As we
expected the house to be attacked, my children and I
evacuated before something bad might happen. Yet
my husband refused to leave saying that there was
no safer place!
On Saturday morning, 17 November 2012,
around 4:35 am, Israel launched a warning missile
at Mr. ‘Atiya Abu Nqaira’s house, as a warning
for people to leave the house. Nearly five minutes
later, the house was hit with another small warning
missile. After a short while the third and the fourth
missiles followed. Only then had my husband
decided to leave to his farm, he had not enough time
to leave.
They attacked the four-story house by a
massive Israeli air strike using an F16 warplane;
the house was fully damaged and so was our house,
where my husband was. We found my dead husband
