Families Targeted by Israeli Terror in 2012

martyr.
In spite of our expectations of his
martyrdom, it was so hard to learn about his
martyrdom, especially when that we knew about
it from the radio! My father and my mother went
to Abu-Yousef Al Najjar Hospital to have the last
farewell look at Abdulrahman’s body,.
Around 9:45 am, an Israeli warplane bombed a
group of people near Abdulallah Ben Rawaha
Mosque, at Maan area, to the east of Khan-
Younis. This led to the martyrdom of two
citizens, Abdulallah Harb Abu-Khater, 21, and
Mahmoud Saed Abu-Khater, 34. Moreover, it
resulted in the injury of the son of the second
martyr, the 3-year-old, Anas.
12. Testimony of Arwa Abu Khater, 27, wife of
martyr Mahmoud:1
Waking up to perform dawn prayer at the
mosque, reading some of holy Quran verses, visiting
his family home to reassure his mother that he’s
okay were things my husband did every day. Nearly
2 hours later, he came back home and escorted our
son, Anas, outside to play.
Mahmoud was basking when one of our
neighbors came to him. It was just a few minutes
before we heard a strong explosion which shook the
house. I screamed, as the explosion was so loud A
few minutes later, I recognized that the explosion
was so close that something could have happened
