at a nearby mosque. They returned back to Wael’s
house for Habes, their third friend, was coming to
see them. After Habes has left the house, the Israeli
warplanes awaited my son and Wael, who were
still in the house, to go out and fired a missile at
them. They were promptly killed. Habes, their third
friend, tried to rescue them and provide help, yet he
followed his friends, being a new victim for a new
drone missile.
About 10:30 A.M. an olive orchard located
near Sahaba Mosque in Al-qarara, Northeast Khan
Younis, was attacked by an Israeli drone missile.
This led to the martyrdom of Waleed Al-Abadlah,
3, after being hit in his head and body. Around 2:10
P.M, he died.
3. Testimony of Waleed’s Mother:1
Waleed and Malak are twins. They used
to wake up together, have their breakfast and go to
play. The day Waleed was killed, he and his twin
sister went out to the courtyard of the house to play
with their cousins and neighbors. The fact that their
father was watching themmade me feel comfortable
about their absence.
Less than an hour later, I heard a massive
explosion. Although the explosion was so loud, I
didn’t –not for a single moment- think that it could
be so near that something could happen to the kids.
Looking out from the window, I was shocked.
Waleed! It was Waleed and his cousin, Haitham,
lying beside each other on the ground.
My husband carried Waleed and went to wash his
