Families Targeted by Israeli Terror in 2012
Nearly at 2:10 pm, Israel had fired a missile
at a civilian vehicle belonging to Hosam
Fayz Hamdan, Abul-Jawad, 32, in front of
AbdulBari Supermarket in Jabalia, killing
him and completely burning his body. The
bombing coincided with the passing of a car
that had the same features of the targeted car
and was driven by Doctor Mohammed Khaleel
Juda, 67, the director of Al Awda Hospital for
the union of health work committees in Tal al-
Za’tar, Jabalya, who was with doctor Ya’qub
Mohammed Muheisen, 35, from Al-Saftawi
neighbourhood and Director of Medicine Stores
at the same union. They had finished their work
and were heading to their houses. The targeting
caused serious damages to the car in addition to
damaging three shops in the area.
14. Testimony of Ghazala Abdul-Jawad, Mother
of Martyr Hosam:1
After Noon Prayer, I went to my daughter’s
house in the next building to make sure she was fine.
I was about to leave when my son, Hosam, arrived
after a long day of work. ‘Please, don’t go to work
after this day! The situation is getting harder and
harder every hour,’ I told him. He said that he was
going to his room to take some rest for he was so
tired.
When I checked on my daughter and other
relatives, I went back home. Asking my daughter in
law about Hosam, she said, ‘My father came to visit
me so Hosam went with him after he left.’
Knowing that he was fine, I went back to
my daughter’s house. When I arrived to her house
