again, I heard a sound of a big explosion. I found a
bunch of people who gathered at the entrance of the
building. I heard something like ‘Hosam’- someone
uttering my son’s name! I felt something strange in
my heart, something I cannot describe.
I rushed home to find that my daughter in
law’s brother was there. When I saw him, I certainly
knew something was wrong! I asked him about
Hosam. ‘I’m sorry,’ he said!
I was not able to believe. I was too afraid to
lose him. I only pray he rests in peace.
Nearly at 3:00 pm, Israel fired a missile towards
Al-Shorooq Tower in the middle of Gaza city
leading to the martyrdom of SalemBoles Swelim,
53, who lived next to the tower.

Israeli warplanes targeted Al-Shorroq
Tower that is next to our house. The sound of
bombing was very powerful, so I went out quickly
to ask about the place of bombing. I came back after
three minutes to our bedroom to find my husband
lying on bed. He was shaking. I knew he was not
fine. Not knowing what was wrong with him, we
transferred him to the hospital. He died.
Doctors told us that his death came because
of heart stroke resulting from the power of the
explosion. I guess it happened to my husband
because he was a heart disease patient.
He was taken to his grave from the church
on Tuesday noon 20 November 2012. We never
expected he would leave us so suddenly! As he was
the only breadwinner.. Losing him was a big loss.
