Israel Kills
Families Targeted by Israeli Terror in 2012
At approximately 3:45 P.M, Israeli
occupation planes fired a missile towards a Kia
Cerato car that was traveling in Abu Bakr Al-
Siddiq Street, near the Public Service Hospital,
in Al-Sabra neighborhood in Gaza City. The
direct bombardment of the car led to the killing
of Commander in Chief of the al-Qassam
Brigades (the armed wing of Hamas) leader,
Ahmed Said Jabari, 52 years, who was driving
the car, accompanied by his guard, Mohammed
Hamed al-Hams, 28, who was also killed in the
attack.
1. Testimony of Um Mohammed, Wife of the
Martyr, Ahmed Jabari:1
On Wednesday, November 14th, 2012 in
the afternoon, we learned from the news that Israeli
war planes directly targeted my husband while he
was driving with his guard, Mohammed al-Hams,
leading to his immediate death along with his guard
whose body was turned into scattered pieces. When
their bodies arrived in Al-Shifa Hospital, media
formally announced their martyrdom.
Few days before the start of the aggression,
I asked him not to go out anywhere, fearing he
might be assassinated. He laughed and told me, ‘It
would be a great bless to get martyred at this time.’
I remember on Arafat Day when he was
performing pilgrimage, he prayed to Allah and
asked Him to die as a martyr. Actually, what he had
dreamt of came true. The moment of farewell, I saw
him raising his index finger, holding a small Quran
